VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5377 units in April 2024

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 5377 units in April 2024 as compared to 6567 units in April 2023. This includes 5254 units of Eicher brand and 123 units of Volvo brand.

Following are details for April 2024:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5254 units in April 2024 as compared to 6399 units in April 2023 representing a decline of 17.9%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4898 units in April 2024 as compared to 6142 units in April 2023, representing a decline of 20.3%.
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded sales of 356 units in April 2024 as compared to 257 units in April 2023, representing a growth of 38.5 %.
• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 123 units in April 2024 as compared to 168 units in April 2023, representing a decline of 26.8%.
